SUSE AI Stack Interoperability
Overview
This document outlines the tested interoperability between Luna and the SUSE AI Stack. The goal is to ensure that Kubernetes node provisioning, including GPU and non-GPU nodes, functions as expected when running SUSE AI Stack workloads.
Tested Configurations
Component | Version |
---|---|
Luna | v1.2.11 |
SUSE AI Stack | 1.0 |
- Ollama | v0.3.14 |
- Open WebUI | v0.3.32 |
Deployment Environments
Cloud Provider | Kubernetes Distribution | Status |
---|---|---|
AWS (EKS) | v1.31.5 | ✅ Tested & Verified |
GCP (GKE) | Expected Compatibility | ⚠️ Not Explicitly Tested |
Azure (AKS) | Expected Compatibility | ⚠️ Not Explicitly Tested |
Key Findings
- Node provisioning: Verified for both GPU and non-GPU nodes.
- SUSE AI Stack compatibility: No issues observed when running workloads with Ollama v0.3.14 and Open WebUI v0.3.32.
- Cluster Autoscaling: Proper scale-up and scale-down behavior observed in EKS v1.31.5.
- Other Kubernetes distributions: While Luna+SUSE AI is expected to work with GKE and AKS, explicit testing has not been conducted yet.
